Jamie Vardy will be leaving Leicester City at the end of the season after a remarkable 13 years at the club.
Bought in May 2012 from Fleetwood Town, who had just won promotion to the EFL for the first time, the striker has gone on to win the Premier League and FA Cup at the King Power stadium as well as amassing 26 England caps.
Vardy has scored 198 goals in 496 appearances for Leicester, of which 143 came in the top flight. But at 38, and with Leicester’s relegation back to the Championship being confirmed last weekend, Vardy will move on this summer.
In Leicester’s remarkable 2016 title-winning season, Vardy scored 24 goals — including a record-breaking stretch of scoring in 11 games in a row. But can he still cut it in the top flight? Which clubs would want him? Or does a move abroad make the most sense?
