Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz (D), Vice President Harris’s running mate, is campaigning in Michigan on Friday afternoon, making several stops in the battleground state.
His first stop will be Detroit, as early voting starts to wind down. Here, he will make his final pitch to voters in the critical swing state with the election just days away.
Harris is expected to visit the Great Lakes State later this weekend. Former President Trump and his running mate Sen. JD Vance (R-Ohio) will also be in the state throughout the last days of the campaign.
The Hill/Decision Desk HQ’s aggregate of polls shows the vice president leading her GOP rival in Michigan by a slim margin — 48.6 percent to 48.1 percent.
The event is scheduled to begin after 12:15 p.m. EDT.
