Rep. Lori Tahan (D-Mass.) shared that she and her family were the target of a bomb threat on Saturday.

“This morning, I was made aware of a bomb threat targeting my family and me,” she wrote in the post on the social media platform X.

“I am grateful to the excellent officers at the Westford Police Department who responded swiftly and who are now working with the U.S. Capitol Police and Massachusetts State Police regarding this incident,” she wrote.

Trahan joins the growing number of political figures to receive a bomb threat which has largely impacted Republican nominees for the incoming administration. Connecticut Democrats were targeted with threats over the Thanksgiving holiday.

After noting past threats, the FBI said it was aware of “numerous bomb threats and swatting incidents,” or false emergency calls targeting someone’s home. It said it was working with law enforcement partners and takes “all potential threats seriously.”

The Hill reached out to Trahan’s office for further comment.
