At the last edition of the Makeup in Paris show, Luisa Oliva and her team have highlighted the sensorial qualities of natural textures within a pop-up laboratory dubbed “Lab Atelier.”
For the designer of cosmetic formulations and founder of LO Consulting, the objective within this experiential laboratory was to achieve a unexpected sensorial performances for four easy-to-create, vegan and natural formulations.
“Our attention was focused on creating cosmetics with ‘clean’ emotional textures, using natural ingredients, emollients, emulsifiers, pigments, gelling compounds, to explore the possibilities of innovations. The idea was to reveal the sensorial features linked to the connection between each component,” said Luisa Oliva.
The four skincare and makeup formulas presented by LO Consulting were proposed to meet two strong trends in the segments, makeup glow and multifunctional skincare:
– The VelvetGaze blush and eye shadow, a 2-in-1 organic and vegan formula, long-lasting and adjustable, with natural pigments, satin finish, and a universal shade for all skin tones.
– The Power serum, a powerful vegan and organic anti-aging product that leaves the skin young and rehydrated.
– The ShadeMatch Highlighter, a light and easy to apply formulation that adapts to all skin tones. Also vegan and organic.
– The CloudSea Moisture Glow, a very soft and silky cream enriched with marine extracts to moisturize the skin. Vegan and organic formula.
On the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the Formulation hall of the next Luxe Pack Monaco, Luisa Oliva will offer a live and immersive experience to explore the innovative textures in makeup and skin care. She will also host a conference on the theme “Beauty Breakthroughs: The Secrets Behind Star Makeup Products” on the latest innovations in the sector.
