Inside Newcastle live Q&A: Chris Waugh answers your questions every Monday

Relief was the overriding emotion on Tyneside on Saturday evening. It would be dangerously premature to suggest Newcastle United’s 4-0 hammering of Leicester City signals a turning point, given this team have sent supporters dizzy already this season, but it was at least a start.

Everyone inside the club understands Eddie Howe’s side must back that victory up by defeating Brentford at St James’ Park on Wednesday and reaching the Carabao Cup semi-final, which would represent progress (of sorts).

But should Howe stick with the XI that routed a poor Leicester side? Can William Osula provide suitable cover for Alexander Isak, or does Callum Wilson’s injury mean Newcastle should change their January transfer priorities? And do the club need to sell in order to buy in the mid-season window?

You can pose all your queries in our weekly Newcastle Q&A.

Post your questions below and Chris Waugh will endeavour to answer as many of them as possible between 2pm and 3pm GMT (9am and 10am ET).
