Spring is one of my favorite seasons. After the doldrums of winter, it’s the time for flowers, bright colors, and cute little critters to wiggle out of their hidey holes for sunshine. Of course, spring can also be a great time for new book releases. Within the next couple of months, there are books coming out by Stephen Graham Jones, Emily Henry, Suzanne Collins, Isabel Allende, Ocean Vuong, and other highly anticipated authors.
As these illustrious new releases trickle out and the beauty of spring starts to unfurl, I’m going to help you stock up on all matter of bookmarks, art, and book sleeves, all of which have been kissed by the essence of spring.

This strawberry birds bookmark has a kind of vintage repeating pattern that is kitschy-cute. $4+

More cute critters! I have to say that a crochet snail bookmark is pretty unique. $16+

Here are more crochet bookmarks, this time of a floral variety. $12

I wish I lived down the street from The Next Chapter Bookshop, for now, I guess I’ll settle for this adorable and lively print. $23+

Here is more (literally) bookish art. If you’re worried about wasted books, don’t be—the Etsy shop owner explains how the flowers are made from “well-worn classics.” $17+

Now for book protectors, one of the bookish accessories (after bookmarks) that I am always on the look out for. I love the art style of these, which have a couple background color options. $15+

The extra dope thing about this book sleeve is that it has an equally springified print if you choose to reverse it. $22

The theme of the day might be “crochet.” This crocheted tulip book sleeve is just as precious as the other handmade crocheted items. $24

Okay, so I don’t immediately know what you might want to do with this handmade wooden bookworm, but it’s cute, on theme, and I’m sure we all identify with it, which means you should definitely get it, right? Right. $15
