Crunchy Mama Box launches certification for ethical and sustainable brands

Global wellness platform Crunchy Mama Box (CMB) has launched its new CMB Certification Program, a global initiative recognizing wellness brands that meet high standards for sustainability, ethical practices, social impact, and transparency.

The CMB Certification awards a seal of excellence to brands that pass a rigorous evaluation process, including cruelty-free and fair-trade practices, eco-friendly production, clean ingredients compliant with Environmental Working Group (EWG) standards and with European Union (EU) regulations for product safety and quality standards, community support initiatives, and climate-conscious operations.

We are proud to unveil a transformative program designed to elevate wellness brands while empowering consumers to make informed, ethical, and sustainable choices with confidence. At its heart, this initiative emphasizes education and collaboration over exclusion. Rather than singling out brands that have yet to meet certification standards, our mission is to provide them with the resources and guidance necessary to align with clean, responsible practices. This inclusive program serves as a beacon of support, championing businesses committed to evolving for the betterment of people and the planet,” said founder Wanda Malhotra, a wellness industry expert with over 30 years of global experience.

Certified brands also gain access to the CMB Seller Membership Program and strategic global partnerships, including a collaboration with IBD, Latin America’s leading organic certifier, allowing them to pursue additional international certifications like USDA Organic and Fair Trade.

Brands interested in applying must submit an application, ingredient lists, and documentation for review. Certification fees start at USD 200 for up to 10 SKUs, including product testing and feedback.
