Football Parlay Friday Week 8: Georgia and four other underdogs that have a shot to win

Friday is here which means we get to dive into the college football board and see where the value lies for our Football Parlay Friday.

Last week wasn’t a winning week for us but it was close to being a pretty good week. USC and Virginia both held leads in the final minutes of their games before ultimately losing (USC managed to lose in overtime). We are still up overall on the year so hopefully we can get back on track this week and keep it rolling.

Season record: 10-67, +$2.60, +1.7% ROI

This week, the parlay includes some marquee games so it should be a fun little extra sweat while we all watch College Football Playoff dreams’ start to come to life — or die.

I think these five bets all have value — or close to it — according to my college football projection model and I am going to place them in a round-robin parlay. (You can find all of my Week 8 college football projections here.)

The bets:

  • Central Michigan moneyline (+135) at Eastern Michigan
  • Tulsa moneyline (+130) at Temple
  • Georgia Tech moneyline (+290) vs. Notre Dame
  • Georgia moneyline (+165) at Texas
  • Florida moneyline (+105) vs. Kentucky

A simple parlay would have all five of these bets together for odds of +11351. That means if you bet $1, you’ll win $113.51. This will be one part of our parlay, but sportsbooks have a feature called round robins that will automatically parlay different combinations.

On BetMGM’s interface, you’ll scroll down your bet slip to see that section. I’ll be selecting “Round Robin 2/5.” This selection parlays each bet with another bet, creating 10 two-game parlays (11 parlays total if you include the five-game parlay above). I’m going to be staking $2 on every bet in this process for a grand total of $22.

The round-robin parlays:

  • Central Michigan/Tulsa/Georgia Tech/Georgia/Florida (+11351) — $2 to win $227.03
  • Central Michigan/Tulsa (+440) — $2 to win $8.81
  • Central Michigan/Georgia Tech (+817) — $2 to win $16.33
  • Central Michigan/Georgia (+523) — $2 to win $10.48
  • Central Michigan/Florida (+382) — $2 to win $7.64
  • Tulsa/Georgia Tech (+797) — $2 to win $15.94
  • Tulsa/Georgia (+509) — $2 to win $10.19
  • Tulsa/Florida (+371) — $2 to win $7.43
  • Georgia Tech/Georgia (+933) — $2 to win $18.67
  • Georgia Tech/Florida (+699) — $2 to win $13.99
  • Georgia/Florida (+443) — $2 to win $8.86
