F1 Singapore GP live updates: Race latest as Lando Norris holds early lead

That’s just the start that Norris needed. Clean off the line, held the lead, and is now out of DRS range from Verstappen behind. The good news for Verstappen, at least, is that he’s already put three seconds between himself and the Mercedes behind.

The big loser off the start was Carlos Sainz, who is back in 12th for Ferrari.
