What’s better than one bisexual character in a romance novel? Two bisexuals falling in love with each other in a romance romance novel, of course. That should go without saying. It’s not as unusual as you might think, either. I actually had a hard time narrowing down this list. Bi4Bi romance books where one bisexual person falls for another bisexual person are the epitome of bisexuality in all its glory. A bi4bi romance could feature a woman falling for a man, a woman falling for another woman, a man falling for a man, a man or woman or nonbinary person falling for a man or woman or nonbinary person–you get it. There’s basically no limit to the possibilities here. It’s like relationship roulette, except it’s all bisexuals all the time and everybody lives and nobody dies.

To be clear, I’m not necessarily distinguishing between bisexual and pansexual characters, here, as some character’s preferred label may not even be specified. For the purposes of this list, bi+ encompasses anybody who is attracted to people of multiple genders. People often emphasize slight differences between the two labels, and that’s fine. It’s everyone’s right to pick whichever label feels most comfortable and appropriate for whatever reason. However, personally, I find the difference in labels more a difference in terminology than a difference in definition. Bisexuality is usually defined as being attracted to people of two or more genders. Pansexuality is described as being attracted to people regardless of gender. Like I said, some slight nuances between the two, absolutely, but for the most part, the same. We’re going with the spirit of the law, not the letter here. So for all my pan peeps out there, this one is for you, too.

I’ll Be the One by Lyla Lee

A new televised K-Pop competition is the perfect chance to make her dreams come true and stick it to all her haters at the same time. Too bad the judges are just as fatphobic as everyone else. They think Skye’s more fit to be a singer than a dancer. But Skye isn’t about to let that stop her. I’ll Be the One is pure adorableness. It’s one of the first bi4bi romance books I ever remember reading, and I love it with all my heart.
